Publix Food and Pharmacy, a large southern chain of grocery stores, will NOT be offering the covid gene therapy shot for children and babies under five years old. And they aren’t going to comment about it or address it in the press, which I think is the wise choice.
On the flip side, CVS is going all in and will be giving shots to children 18 months to four and Walgreens is going for the 3 to 4 year old crowd.
Publix may be following the lead of Florida’s Department of Health which has formally advised against these shots for small children.
Glad someone is drawing a line. Too little, too late, but at least it’s a start.
