So sayeth the Fauci when talking about the DOJ asking a federal appeals court to overturn the ruling that removed masks from public transportation, including airplanes (BTW, how many incidents at airports or on planes have hit the news since the mandate was ended?–I haven’t seen any.) 

…it’s less about mandates on the plane than it is about who has the right and the authority and the capability of making public health decisions,”

“So it’s more of a matter of principle of where the authority lies than it is about whether or not there’s gonna be a mandate on a plane or not,” Fauci added.

Of course nothing was mentioned about the fact that masks don’t do anything to prevent the spread of airborne viruses or anything about the latest studies that says they actually made things worse.  Science wasn’t even part of the conversation.

Because it never was about science.  And the man wouldn’t know a principle if it bit him on the ass.

It brings to mind a saying ‘don’t give an order you know won’t be carried out’.  The DOJ better hope they lose this one because I don’t really see people knuckling under again, especially now that studies have actually hit the public eye that shows how useless masks were/are. 

I barely complied (only when necessary and only under protest) and still feel like there’s a stain on my soul.  Won’t do it again.
