Midwest Chick's Place

Today is a day that is not about hot dogs and cookouts, but about honoring and remembering those who gave their lives and who give their service to this country and to the ideals of freedom and to the proposition that all men are created equal.  So today I remember the honored military who gave their all and try to be worthy of that sacrifice.

I think of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and what it should represent to the people of the United States–it’s almost sacred place at the heart of sacrifices made and I remember.
