Schools are making parents the enemy

This has been clear from the actions of the National School Board letter that started the DOJ on the path to watching parents who spoke up in school board meetings.  But it’s deeper in the system than that.

School administrators and teachers are convincing students that their parents do not have their best interests at heart.  This is not a hard sell–all kids hate restrictions and parents provide those for the benefit of the child. James Clavell laid it out in The Children’s Story talking about communists taking over schools.

Schools are keeping serious issues from parents.  The process started with indoctrination into politics, providing birth control and abortions on the downlow, and has now morphed into pushing gender identity changes including puberty blockers and other medication (but there has to be a signed doctor’s note to give a child his own inhaler for asthma).  Schools are causing a trend in gender fluid by making it cool.  Girls especially follow the leader so you have groups of friends who all of a sudden decide they want to be asexual or be boys.

There is an increase in suicides and mental health issues that cannot solely be attributed to lockdowns and school closings.  Schools that push the above agendas are certainly culpable if not the root cause.

We’ve reached the point where parents are having to sue schools for taking in loco parentis too far (MA and FL so far).  They are keeping secrets deliberately from parents and are pushing students into ‘transitioning’ socially, potentially putting students in danger by having them change bathrooms, names, and mode of dress.  Their excuse for keeping these things from parents?  That they might object.

I’m not going to excuse parents completely either.  They were content to let schools be babysitters and authority figures.  But their eyes got opened as to what was happening behind school walls during e-learning and they are starting to realize what they gave up and are now having to fight to get it back.

  1. Schools in the USA used to be totally different. They were about the three R's.

  2. Yeah. That went by the wayside about ten years after I was out (which is a long time ago). It's when the hippies started taking over education.
