A couple in Massachusetts bought a house on a golf course. And their house has, surprising no one, been continually pelted by golf balls. Apparently their house is in a particularly bad spot. Regardless, they sued the country club and actually won.
This kind of stupid, aided and abetted by the court system is just mind-blowing.
So let’s tick off some things to look at before buying a house:
- On a golf course, expect golf balls through your window and dents in your siding.
- Near railroad tracks, expect trains to go past at all hours of the day and night.
- Near a pig or chicken farm, expect smells–lots and lots of smells.
- Near an airport, expect to hear planes.
