B blogged about our trip to Knoxville with our trip to Calhoun’s–a local BBQ chain, and his really good landing when we got home.
Here’s some pictures from our trip as we went through a bank of clouds (yay for B’s IFR rating). Ya know, they say things are fluffy as clouds or soft as clouds, but it’s really bumpy going through them.
It is truly the only way to fly though!

The tops of cumulous clouds is the bumpiest. Any time to fly is the best time. Having one's Inst rocks!

Yep, NOT smooth even if it is pretty…

Rick–Being able to literally take off to anyplace is amazing. And even though we have to watch the weather, it's not as much of a thing. We were working to beat thunderstorms on the way back. And I have to say, the pressurized aircraft is really nice–wouldn't be as much fun to fly with a thing up my nose.NFO–Really pretty, really bumpy. But beautiful.
