In general, I’m pretty much a ‘live and let live’ kind of chick. I don’t give a rat’s half eaten ass about the Tab A/Slot B or Tab A /Tab A variants of human interactions.
But I’m really starting to get pissed off about the way that the word ‘woman’ is being co-opted by the transgender community and their friends in the media.
There are physical differences between folks with XY and XX chromosomes. It’s a biological fact. One of those differences is physicality. Men (XY) have penises and woman (XX) have vaginas. Even a kindergartener knows this.
As I’ve said and apparently now a woman named Lisa Townsend in Surrey, UK says:
“If you’re a male who prefers to wear dresses, grow your hair long and you’d rather wear make-up, that’s great. You go for it, but that doesn’t make you a woman. “
Lisa Townsend, the elected Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey, was found by a local council panel to have breached the code of conduct of her office after supporting a tweet from Rowling that insisted that transgender rapists are not female.
People are having to protest against putting physically intact male rapists into women’s prisons. This is something that should be common sense and is really one of the the reasons that women were housed separately from men in the first place.
Physically intact men, with all of the advantages of growing up with high levels of testosterone and muscle mass are smoking their female competitors in sports. I’m pretty sure that Title IX was not set up to allow men with long hair and a shiny new feminine name to compete in women’s sports.
Gays and lesbians are caught up in this too. I’ve been told, reliably, that most gay men do not want a man in women’s clothing. If they wanted a woman, they wouldn’t be, you know, gay. Lesbians don’t want a man in women’s clothing either because if they wanted a man, they wouldn’t be, you know, a lesbian.
There are truly not that many people in the world with gender dysphoria or who were born hermaphrodites.
But the more they try to ‘replace’ XX women, the angrier we’re getting. Back to JK Rowling:
Among the thousands of letters and emails I’ve received are disillusioned members of Labour, the Greens, the Lib Dems and the SNP. Women are scared, outraged and angry at the deaf ear turned to their well-founded concerns. But women are organising. 2/3
