Is it because they are white?

After 9-11 all the American public heard about was not to blame all folks from the Middle East for the killing of over 3,000 Americans on American soil.

After everyone figured out that the Wuhan virus came from China, all we heard was to not blame Asians, especially the Chinese, for the virus that governments used as an excuse to implement more tyranny than they already had.  Remember when Nancy Pelosi said that everyone should make a trip to Chinatown and the Italians having the ‘Hug an Asian’ weirdness??

So riddle me this…  why is it okay to blame all Russians, even those who escaped from the USSR for Putin’s actions?  They’re pouring Russian vodka (even when it’s made in the USA) down the drain.  Tchaikovsky is being canceled in Cardiff, UK.  People are being fired for their heritage.  Facebook and Instagram (but I repeat myself) are allowing calls for violence against Russians.  In Vancouver, a Russian Community Center was vandalized.

And on a different note, a Ukrainian family that made it to the United States’ Southern border and were turned away while hundreds of thousands of darker skinned folks just pour over.

I’m guessing that this rhetoric and actions are being allowed due to skin tone.  And it’s just wrong.

  1. I used to be blind to it, but now I have to come out and just say that America is as racist a nation as we have ever been. It is just that the liberals are not as good at hiding it as they used to be.When I was in school, and first heard that FDR had put Japanese Americans in interment camps, I was what can only be described as ashamed. How could a country like America, the country that wanted the tired, the hungry, and those longing to be free, turn around and put those same people, many who had fought for freedom in the 1st world war, into literal prisons? As a young man, just graduating high school, I somehow knew that one day, I would have to bear arms in defense of my country. I even tried to enlist in the military, but my hearing stopped me. I graduated in 1978, so just missed Vietnam. But I somehow have always felt in my heart that one day, there was something waiting for me, something that I would have to do, to help protect our way of life. I hate to think of it now at the age of 61, but I am never going to abandon my nation. The one thing that gives me pause is that I wish that we would be facing this coming decade with a strong executive branch, instead of what we have. A military man like Ike, or to avoid chauvinism, even someone like Tulsi Gabbard, who has a solid head, and knows what is involved when you bring our nation to war.I don't agree with a lot of her politics, but I would rather she were the president now than what we are faced with. Have a great weekend, and prayers for you and yours, as well as our nation, and especially our leaders, that God will give them competence and diection.
