The person presiding over Sarah Palin’s libel lawsuit against the NY Times has said he’s going to throw out the case regardless of the jury result.
Of course it’s NY, he was appointed by Clinton, but seriously, this kind of activist needs to be removed from the bench. That’s why we have juries–so one man isn’t making the call.
This ruling WILL be appealed. However the outcome of that appeal….like this trial…will depend solely on the political agenda of the judge hearing it. The “justice” system in America is dead. Has been for a long time.

Dan-I hate to say that you're right, but it's been gamed so much that justice is now rare.

We don't have a “justice system”. We have a legal system…intended to impose arcane, contradictory ludicrous laws on society. If “justice” actually happens in a court room be assured it was an accidental and UNINTENTIONAL byproduct of the LEGAL process.
