No thanks, I'll drive

 It seems that Amtrak didn’t make it through the storm on the east coast any better than I-95 did.  Word is that, even though the train backtracked to outside of Lynchburg, no one was allowed off the train, the toilets overflowed, and there was no more food on board.

All things considered, I’d rather take my chances alone in my car than be trapped on a train with a bunch of other people.  In the winter, I have blankets, water, snacks, and a candle in a tin can with a lighter along with a Carhartt suit, hat, boots, and gloves.  Adding a roll of toilet paper after hearing about what happened in VA.

  2. I have a backpack that has the 'necessaries' in it, but need to take it apart and switch out items as needed.
