Apparently the US Surgeon General has figured out that the covid brouhaha has had a detrimental effect on children. Well no shit Sherlock. But of course, as with all things connected to Brandon, he totally misses the point, probably trying to deflect blame from what they have wrought (and continue to do so). Bear in mind this is the same idiot who worked for Obama.
In his 40+ page advisory, he tries to aggregate and conflate different issues in order to run cover for lockdowns, masking, quarantines, and constant fear-mongering.
“Biological and environmental factors can also be interrelated, making it difficult to isolate unique “causes” of mental health challenges. For example, if a child is genetically predisposed to depression, they might be more affected by experiences such as bullying than other children.”
He has an extensive list of things that should be done, but somehow are just designed to cost taxpayer dollars without addressing the true causes of this increase in depression, drug use, apathy towards school, and suicide. You can read them in the article here.
Some things that aren’t mentioned that I think should be:
- Getting rid of masks. Masking has been shown to have both detrimental physical and psychological effects on children (and adults). They haven’t been shown to have any positive effect or to prevent airborne disease transmission.
- Stopping the constant testing. No one wants swabs scraping their brains every other day.
- Stopping the quarantines and keep schools open. If school is constantly being called for no good reason then students don’t have the consistency they need.
- Stopping the fear. It’s a fucking cold. The chances of a child dying are statistically almost nil. But making them eat outside might give them regular pneumonia.
- Stopping the shots. It exacerbates the fear, causes children to lie to their parents at the behest of the school, and has unknown side effects.
