That’s how the lead doctor in South Africa is describing the reaction to the Nu/Xi/Omicron variant. She says that maybe in two weeks, it’ll be different but right now the symptoms are so mild they only caught the fact these folks had the Fauci Flu by testing since they have none of the usual identifying symptoms.

So, the real question is, is it 'following' the normal mutation 'schedule' if you will, e.g. becoming less and less viral OR ???

A virus typically mutates, or the mutated virus types survive by becoming more contageous and/or less lethal. Not because the virus is being “nice” but because a virus that causes a brutal disease or death of the victim also kills the virus and prevents further spread of that variety. The virus is built to survive and spread. That process is different from a Leftist/Democrat/Communist brewing up nasty virus variations in the “shop” to spread fear and death to a target population. Different goals.

I'm guessing it's a natural mutation following the common cold scenario. It's the brouhaha around it that's man-made at this point.
