From the American Thinker. It seems to be as plausible as anything else I’ve heard. Considering how politicians are always in CYA mode, it’s even possible.

The reason that vaxxes are coming hard and fast and often is because they don’t work. But the politicians and the media said that they did. In the politician’s mind, what they need now is to double down and get the entire world this shot. Because then everyone is in the same boat and it hides their duplicity.
They need it done before the numbers of vaccinated deaths and hospitalizations can no longer be hidden or the deaths of children and formerly healthy adults becomes front page news. Positive tests are already rising everywhere based on the last push and people wanting to keep their jobs.
It’s a smokescreen, plain and simple.
