I’ve got my own ideas of what I would term as an emotional hellscape. A class of students, two thirds being unmasked, definitely doesn’t make the grade for that type of hysteria.
Professors are sad because they aren’t able to call the police on non-compliant masking this year.
Apparently one grade school teacher thought it was okay to TAPE masks to students’ faces.
I would feel sorry for those who are so caught up in their fear, but since they seem to be in positions to force their fear and compliance onto others–especially students and children, I can’t muster up anything other than contempt.
