The feds, again, are throwing out info without data

Interestingly enough, patients who test positive for the WuFlu don’t know if they have the Dread Delta or something else.

“The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service (CMS), which oversees the regulatory process for US labs, requires genome-sequencing tests to be federally approved before their results can be disclosed to doctors or patients,”

Which means that the feds would have to approve the release of the tests before either the doctor or the patient can know what they are dealing with.

So with only about 50 labs in the US that have the ability to sequence the variants, what is the sample size they are using to say that Delta is the dominant variant?

  1. Since the EUA Sars Covid PCR test has about a 90% false positive record, I suspect they can't/won't tell what variation of the China Wuhan Virus a patient has because they most likely probably don't have it.

  2. Matthew–Excellent point! It'll be interesting to see what happens to the data when those tests reach end-of-life at the end of the year.
