They are insisting that they are putting more safeguards around the new spyware that’s going to come along with IOS 15, but they are missing the point.
The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Scanning a person’s cell phone (which they have bought and paid for) to find kiddie porn (bear in mind that I believe that pedophiles should die with fire) is a perfect example of a good intention.
They started down the road by bowing to federal pressure to not put end-to-end encryption on iCloud. Now they are going to be putting spyware on all their phones, iPads, and Macs.
I wrote them (for what it’s worth) that if they persisted, I was going to start divesting myself from the iWorld.
Finding that the readjustment to Android is going pretty easy.
