Maybe that rise in Covid in the UK really wasn't one

One thing that is certain, social interaction aside, kids don’t like going to school.  They long for snow days, weather events, and teachers’ workshops.

What does this have to do with the title of the post, you may be asking?

Well, in the UK, kids had to test at least twice a week in order to go back to school (they started back towards the end of March 2021).  It is something called a lateral test, kind of like a pregnancy test, except you either spit in it or put a booger in it or something.

In addition to these tests being only 76.8% accurate, those little scamps figured out how to fool the test and get a false positive.  There was even a Tik Tok channel dedicated to it.  Apparently fruit juice was a winner and this information was spread throughout the UK (their science teachers should actually be quite proud).

They actually shut down one school due to the number of ‘positive’ tests.

But it did get the fear mongerers doing what they do, screaming that the Delta was coming to kill everyone (the death rate in the UK in NUMBERS-not percentages-has not risen substantially).

Nice to see the people do their own skewing of the data.
