A Chicago rapper, coming out of the jail after getting a new piece of jewelry on his leg, got whacked. And not just whacked, but WHACKED.
In Chicago gang-style marksman terms that means that approximately eleventy-hundred rounds needed to be fired in his direction.
Let’s break this down a little bit.
His ‘street name/rapper name’ was KTS Dre (the KTS stands for Kill To Survive). He was getting out on a bail amount of $5000 for violating the conditions of his parole for a 2020 gun charge (felon in possession of a weapon and resisting police).
He was leaving the jail, which means he was shot right outside.
The police are seeking surveillance video since there is apparently none outside the jail.
But according to Lori Lightfoot, there’s no violence problem in Chicago, despite the fact she’s asked Biden for federal troops (the same help that Trump offered and she turned down).
A takeaway note: this man was not shot by the police–either when he resisted arrest or in this incident.
