Asheville, in addition to defunding their police, leading to rationing of officer interaction since 84% of their force has left, has approved ‘reparations’–$2.1 million in fact. Of course they have no plan on how they’re going to do it, but there it is.
And to add to their virtue signaling, Juneteenth (which I swear to goodness I never heard of until two years ago) is now a city holiday.
Wonder where they are going to get that money once their tourist traffic has slowed or stopped?
Teh stoopid continues… 1/3 of their PD has gone, crime is spiking, etc… And yes, they DEPEND on tourists.
