Doing some tab clearing and, thanks to Ace of Spades, looked up the original ‘Filthy Fifteen’–songs that were deemed by Tipper Gore’s Parental Music Resource Center to be banned from the radio airwaves. The list is below. The one that surprised me was number fifteen–She Bop by Cyndi Lauper.
So I did a quick search. And I was much surprised at what she meant by ‘bopping’.
