I’m going to say that a bad cop is one that bodyslams a 73 year old woman to the ground and then fist-bumps his partner while the woman, whose shoulder was dislocated by his partner, and her wrist was broken from being thrown to the ground, sat for six hours in a cell without medical attention as they re-watch their cruelty and laugh.
They should lose their jobs, be arrested and convicted of assault and abuse, and spend time in jail being someone’s bitch. They should burn in hell once they’ve left this mortal coil.

It’s a far cry from the officer who helped me with my mom. When he was on duty and saw her, he would follow her home to make sure she got in safely, and he even stopped in to make sure she was okay on his off hours. His grandfather had dementia and he took it upon himself to help where he could.
He was my go-to guy and a blessing. A true peace officer.

I understand that policing is hard. But when you go over the edge and savage an 80 pound woman because you feel you can, and you laugh, then you should receive the consequences of that action and anyone who watched and laughed and left an old woman without care for hours should also.
