They have an entire department and program–the United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) Internet Covert Operations Program that looks at the internet, supposedly to make sure there are no threats to the postal service, employees, or facilities. Their expanded mission is to scour social media posts of conservatives and report any ‘inflammatory’ posting to the Department of Homeland Security–not seeing that social media posts have anything to do with misuse of the postal service.
They’ve fallen from the days of “Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds” to ‘we’re going to spy on everyone’ and throw legal ballots into the garbage and backdate them to subvert the voting process in the United States.
