The mainstream media and the CDC are trumpeting the fact that the Pfizer and Moderna injections create what they are calling immunity for up to six months studying their test population of 45+ million people. Then I came across this gem:
How long will the vaccine protect me?
New research suggests the protection the Moderna vaccine gives against COVID-19 lasts for at least six months. Research on the Pfizer vaccine has found the same results. Both vaccines have only been available in the U.S. for six months.
Please read this again and parse it out. ‘Protection lasts for at least six months. They have only been available in the U.S. for six months.’
Well duh. That’s why true trials before actual FDA approval, not an emergency use authorization, go on for years. So they have real data regarding length of efficacy and side effects.
I’m guessing that once the testing goes on for a few more months, that number will stretch out to match the length of time it’s been available.
