The CDC has been busy. In a much ballyhooed new ‘study’, the CDC found that masks and lockdowns decreased the number of positive covid tests by….. tah dah… up to a whopping 1.8% over the course of 100 days. Essentially nothing since it’s within the statistical margin of error.
I did some quick math on Indiana’s rates. The mask mandate went into effect on July 27, 2020 which made the 100th day November 4, 2020.
The number of positive tests on July 27 was 820. The number of positive tests on November 4 was 4,415.
The difference between those numbers is: 3,595. Multiplying 3,595 times .018 = 64.71 (let’s round to 65).
So MAXIMUM, 65 cases that may or may not have been prevented by face burkhas.
Over the course of 100 days… so 0.65 cases a day, assuming that the 1.8% number is not just statistical noise.
Bupkis, nada, nothing. No real effect at all except for causing people to look like extras from a Mortal Kombat movie, massive unemployment, suicides, loss of small businesses, the growth of communism, and loss of personal freedom.
All for statistical noise.
