The Texas Declaration of Independence created the Republic of Texas today in 1836. Also today, the Governor of Texas declared a different kind of independence–businesses are now open 100%–all of them and the mask mandate is over.

I wish Indiana could follow in their foot steps. I truly miss the freedoms stripped away by the overbearing government.

Yeah, me too. I've been delving into the archives and we are WAAAY below the numbers they used to keep putting the screws on. And the numbers are still dropping. The Governor of Mississippi, in a fit of good sense, is also dropping the mask mandate and other restrictions because he says they are well below the original criteria they used and their numbers are dropping too.Gov Sports Metaphor doesn't have that kind of good sense.
