I was at the car dealership today, waiting to get a loaner and a woman walks in with a mask that read: “Wearing by Force, not by Fear”. I said I liked it and we got to chatting. She said that the virus is out there, masks and all of the other flaming hoops that people are being forced to jump through are useless.
She is worried for children being forced to ‘learn’ from home and for the younger ones who are not getting important cues from looking at people’s faces. She has seen an exponential increase in suicides as well due to this mess.
We both thought that the timing of Pfizer’s announcement of a vaccine was fishy (and that we’re suspicious as to their purported efficacy).
All in all, a good talk with a stranger.
