So, the Oscars are getting the hashtag of ‘too white’ because no black actor was nominated in the major categories and ‘Out of Compton’ didn’t get a nomination. Okay, but no Star Wars picture ever got a major category nomination nor any of the actors in any of those movies either. So now the people of color know what the geeks and nerds went through year after year.

Al Sharpton and the usual race-baiting suspects are calling for a boycott. To the best of my recollection, no one has been watching anyway, so I don’t think anyone will notice if a few million more folks miss that particular self-congratulatory circle jerk of an ‘awards show’ that the Oscars have become.
