I called both senators and my US representative to express my dismay and opposition to US troops being sent to West Africa to help contain the ebola outbreak. Our troops are not trained for this type of thing, it’s a misuse of personnel, and even doctors who are trained to handle these things are getting exposed.
In a tin-foil-hat kind of moment, I wonder if Obama is deliberately trying to expose our people in order to ensure a large-scale outbreak on US soil. We’ve already got school-age children ending up in the hospital from being exposed to enterovirus EV-d68 and tuberculosis the growth of incidents, according to what I’ve read, are coinciding with the influx of illegals….
Regardless, sending our people deliberately into that cesspool is egregiously negligent, ill-advised, and imprudent. Call your senators–don’t know how much good it will do, but something needs to be said.
