Yesterday I traveled to say ‘hi’ to family, but got back in time for Mr B‘s family’s Christmas Eve tradition, which has also become mine. Fellowship and family and some wit from an unexpected source personified by Mr B’s niece’s young man. I lobbed it up and he spiked it in. Glorious!
One thing I learned on my travels is that on Christmas Eve day, Santa rides the interstate system in a Buick LeSabre.
I also remembered, in discussing college coursework with Mr B’s Oldest Niece, that the word ‘postmodern’ still makes my brain hurt.
But one thing to remember in our times of fellowship is those who stand watch and keep us safe and cannot share this time with their families.
Thanks to our military!
