It’s truly interesting to watch the spin the press puts on it. Their meme du jour is that because Congress passed it, it must be Constitutional (also Nancy Pelosi’s argument, coincidentally). Hopefully the balance of powers (even the Founding Fathers didn’t think that all laws passed by Congress would be Constitutional) will make this abomination right. But then the Founding Fathers never dreamed that those holding the public trust would game the system so completely either and would no longer be trustworthy.
