So the Chicago Police department is eating the cost of providing 100+ officers for security for Valerie Jarrett’s daughter’s wedding. And the citizens of the Chicago are eating quite a bit of lead–46 injured and eight dead. The murder rate is up by 35% year over year in the Windy City. And the city of Chicago is wanting to pay citizens $100 (in a gift card) for each (illegal) gun turned in this coming weekend.
Interesting stats considering that in the US overall, crime is going down as (legal) gun ownership is going up. Amazing, huh??
