And the worst they can say is no….

Congrats to my friend–she took a chance, sent an email and was rewarded with Dharma Brew from the Lafayette Brewing Company.  She is a volunteer at Wolf Park and folks from the park frequent the Brew Pub after Saturday evening Howls (well worth checking out if you are ever in around West Lafayette, Indiana).  So she emailed the Pub owners and suggested a new limited beer and they agreed.  Not only that, they will be donating money from each sale to the park.  It’s a win-win, she says–not only a cool idea coming to fruition but the beer is wicked tasty too.

From the Brewery:

We’ve got some fantastic seasonals due for release this month. Dharma, brewed in celebration of Wolf Park’s 40th Anniversary, is a dark ale was brewed with pale, toasted, caramunich, crystal and de-husked roasted malts to create a full-bodied dark ale. A very modest dose of Nugget and Chinook hops add a touch of bitterness to balance the malt. The resulting ale is rich and malty with hints of nuts, toffeee and chocolate. 8.1% ABV 25 IBU. LBC will donate $.50 from the sale of every glass of Dharma to Wolf Park. Learn more about Wolf Park at: www.wolfpark.org
