Well, it took the spectre of legal action, but Spike Lee has apologized to the McClains for re-tweeting their address (twice against twitter rules). He’s also reimbursed them for the trouble that he caused them since they’ve been living at a hotel and has (finally) tweeted that he had the wrong address and for his followers to back off.

I think he's paying them off, and hoping they don't sue for pain, suffering and mental anguish… I sure as hell would be suing his ass!

agirlandhergun–Yeah, he's a real prince…. NFO–Oh yeah, because he didn't contact them until after they'd contacted a lawyer. I heard that Roseanne Barr has posted the real address of Zimmerman's parents (which is against Twitters TOS, but rules are only for the rest of us). I'd say that's being far more culpable in trying to cause someone direct harm than anything Sarah Palin did or said.
