Me: Most of the best chefs tend to be men. Except for Julia Child.
Himself: She was bad-ass.
Also…. why do the best stories start with “We didn’t figure that…” usually followed by an anecdote about explosions? It’s akin to “Hey y’all, hold my beer and watch this!” but with better endings.
She sure was bad ass. “Secret Agent” gives you an automatic admission to the Bad Ass club.

Borepatch–You're right. Secret Agent = BadAss. Brigid–You're already on the Bad Ass List. :-)NFO–Mild mannered Julia cooking on PBS never let on her badassness, which makes her even cooler.
