Four months ago I went to a fancy salon and we did highlights, lowlights, foils, colors, and layers over the course of three hours and to the tune of $150 and hardly anyone noticed (Himself, being a good partner, did notice).
This weekend I bought some stuff to help repair split ends and some conditioner ($6 total), and I took about 30 seconds (maybe less) to trim my bangs with the scissors that we keep in a cup with the pens and a backscratcher in the living room and I’m getting compliments out the yin/yang.
Lesson learned.
