Brian Wood, a game developer, met that measure, in spades.  When he knew that an impact (from what turned out was a drunk driver) was imminent, he turned his vehicle deliberately so that he would take the impact, thus sparing the lives of his wife and unborn child.  Interestingly enough, his latest project was Company of Heroes Online.  I’ve never seen the game, but I do know that his actions caused him to join the Company of Heroes.

This is what separates Real Men from all others.  It is a quality that still exists but has been buried under decades of rhetoric and man-bashing.  Hopefully Brian’s game helps to teach those qualities and will reverse the damage that has been done.
