Kudos points all around
A low hours pilot (less than 100 hours) in North Carolina successfully landed his 1967 Aero Commander on a local highway. If you’ve ever driven state roads/highways in NC on the west side of the state, it’s basically just trees and power lines and no straight lines anywhere. Vincent Fraser (the pilot) was actually lucky… Continue reading

Found one source of agendas infecting public schools
It’s the National Education Association–the largest teacher’s union in the US. They are going all-in on child grooming, and baby killing. They really don’t seem to give much time or care to actually advocating teaching math, history, reading, and writing. I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again, the way the public education system… Continue reading

Travels…
I alluded to traveling through the Midwest in my Independence Day post but thought I’d spend some more time detailing some of my adventures. I had to go from Indiana to Missouri for work–about a nine hour drive one way. So I saw quite a bit of countryside during that time. Plus I got to… Continue reading

RIP Alan Bourdillion Traherne a.k.a. James Caan
James Caan played a lot of roles, but I think my favorite was “Mississippi” in El Dorado. They paid homage to that role in the TV show Las Vegas by having Mississippi’s full name as a false passport for Caan’s character in that show. Continue reading

The Wall Street Journal weighs in on covid shots for kids
And it is most surprising. A new editorial states: “In fact, we don’t know if the vaccines are safe and effective,” Allyssia Finley wrote in a WSJ editorial. “The rushed FDA action was based on extremely weak evidence. It’s one thing to show regulatory flexibility during an emergency. But for children, Covid isn’t an emergency.… Continue reading

An odd OCD similarity
Has anyone else noticed the similarity between the Big Bang Theory’s Sheldon knocking on a neighbor’s door (rapping on the door three times, with three knocks) and how Kamala Harris talks? It seems like she has an OCD-like condition where she has to repeat a phrase multiple times. Sheldon: Kamala: !function(r,u,m,b,l,e){r._Rumble=b,r[b]||(r[b]=function(){(r[b]._=r[b]._||[]).push(arguments);if(r[b]._.length==1){l=u.createElement(m),e=u.getElementsByTagName(m)[0],l.async=1,l.src=”https://rumble.com/embedJS/u4″+(arguments%5B1%5D.video?’.’+arguments[1].video:”)+”/?url=”+encodeURIComponent(location.href)+”&args=”+encodeURIComponent(JSON.stringify([].slice.apply(arguments))),e.parentNode.insertBefore(l,e)}})}(window, document, “script”, “Rumble”); Rumble(“play”,… Continue reading

Meme Wednesday
For when I don’t have a pithy saying or post ready… Kudos points if you recognize the outlines in #5, can name the Bond Villain in #25, and know who #31 is. Continue reading

Nothing says 'resistance' like a mani-pedi
AOC says she feels ‘powerless’ and that a manicure is a way to fix that. If this twit gets re-elected, her constituents should be lined up and stooge slapped. Continue reading

Back when we actually got educated while watching cartoons
Schoolhouse Rock got discontinued probably because it taught kids to love their country and history. I can still sing along to the below. These should be running all of the time on PBS and other channels. Continue reading
