Not understanding this dem tactic about the SAVE Act

So all of these dems are coming out and are basically saying that women are too stupid to get their papers in order to be able to vote. And maybe some are in which case, yay, they won’t be voting. ETA: I am a proponent of the repeal of the 19th Amendment. That is not where the country is right now so the rest of my commentary is based on the fact that right now it is in effect.

But I don’t know why they are wailing and crying so much. Having to produce a birth certificate and a court order for a name change has been status quo forever in most states (hint to the dems, even trans people changing their names have to do it). And it’s only when you’re getting your official name change with the government that you have to lug everything around, not at the voting station.

But here’s the kicker, I’m going to posit that most liberal/dem women don’t change their names when they get married (at the most they do that stupid hyphenation thing). It’s mainly conservative women or women who have some sense of history and it’s a sign of respect for your husband and his family. And liberal women have none of those things.

But wait, there’s more.

So honestly the dems would be better off to just shut up and pass it. The ‘damage’ to their side will be negligible, and honestly, any woman on the conservative side who can’t catch a clue shouldn’t be at the ballot box anyway.

Yeah…uh…color me with whatever crayon I need to be colored, but I’m of the opinion that none of them should be allowed to vote, regardless of race/religion/color or imagined leaning.
Hell, for the most part, I’m of the opinion that if you haven’t served your country in some way, shape or form, you shouldn’t have a voice in how it’s run.
To quote Heinlein as inspiration, Service Guarantees Citizenship.
Again, crayon of your choosing. I’m good with it either way.

  2. The damage to honest and legitimate Democratic (sic) votes may be minimal, but maybe they know it will drastically hurt their side to have fair and honest elections. We aren’t privy to how much voter fraud has actually been conducted over the last several election cycles. Every time someone tries to file a lawsuit, it gets tossed on technicalities.

In my ignorance of how much fraud they routinely commit, I will accept their assessment that SAVE would be devastating to their side.
