    About men after divorce: most men that I’ve seen have been thoroughly screwed by the process, life wrecked, and for about 5 years after (more, with kids) have a tough time. And then it changes. They get on with life; work two jobs; are focused and very cautious. They accept, recover, and rebuild. So, yeah, the meme is probably true, for white males anyway, but the implication that men are winners in the process is BS. Men move on after the war. Women, not so much.
