Right. I don’t know what’s more foolish. That a “Cashier” can’t count change… or that an EMPLOYER would trust such an individual WITH. THEIR. CASH. And don’t get me started on hiring anyone that cannot read CURSIVE… as I’ve had unbelievable experiences with THAT as well.
Ah yes, there are any number of “Undiscovered Safe Places” here at The Boneyard!
LOL… “Never attempt with words that which you can readily accomplish using a FLAMETHROWER” – Flex Crush (paraphrased from the book Real Men Don’t Eat Quiche)
A lot of fun stuff this fine morning. Thanks!

Humans are the same as printer ink at 9pm on a school night. Who knew?
Back before I was into genealogy, my mom told me about a relative passing and they found the hood and sheets in the closet. Several years later I learned from my sister that that relative was female. Suddenly, I really was curious who Democrat was.

Hand the cashier bills or coins so the change is rounded up. They stare stupidly at the money and start to give some back. “Just punch in the amount, you’ll see” I tell them.
I’m with Franklin on that one.
Thanks always for the humor.

That’s your mind on drugs.
I see that sign often near a youth correctional prison. Sometime I get escorted by if there’s a breakout.

So many great ones today. Thanks MWC!
Btw, the new utopian NYC is starting off like you’d expect:
From the NY Post: “Zohran Mamdani fans disappointed by disastrous ‘block party’ with no food, bathrooms.”
LOL, no nuggies, kebabs, falafel or port-a-johns… They ain’t seen nothing yet.

Regarding the change dilemma, I once made a purchase that was exactly $26. I gave the cashier 2 twenties and a one so she could give me a five and a ten, or even three fives, as change. She gave me a ten and 5 ones, including the one that I’d given her. Then she got all weepy when I made a snarky comment, “Math is really hard, isn’t it?”
