When oaths don’t mean anything

A US District Court judge not only didn’t keep a seven time border invader and rapist in jail for an extra nineteen months, she also:

went as far as to praise Diaz for illegally crossing the border several times, saying, “I commend you for supporting your family, for expressing your devotion to them and for working here in the United States in jobs that Americans apparently do not want to work in and certainly not for the wages that were undoubtedly abusive of your work for them.”

“I see … somebody who is stepping forward to take responsibility and to gain insight into what led you to commit that crime of sexual assault and this one of illegal reentry,” Levy told Diaz.

Now bear in mind when I say he is a rapist, he pleaded guilty to raping and sodomizing a disabled woman with cerebral palsy. Someone who was absolutely unable to protect herself.

And this ‘judge’ went all social worker on him instead of upholding the laws of this country.

In my opinion, any judge who says anything like that should be immediately removed from the bench and disbarred for good measure. They take oaths to uphold the law. When they are clearly oathbreakers, there should be consequences.

  1. Again, a perfect example where a rail, tar and feathers would have been “Judiciously” applied.

It was The Way then. Long overdue for resurgence now.

  3. In every election (here in MN), I notice that approx. 75% of the judges positions are running UN-opposed. This is how we end up with these people making these decisions. They either can’t be impeached or our gutless Republicans can’t find anyone qualified to run in these races. Like voting in Russia. One choice.

  4. @Boneman – Judge Roy Bean had the right idea. Hemp Jig, immediately after sentencing. Reduces recidivism to zero and gives most of the rest of citizens pause when contemplating a crime.

The USA screwed up back in the 70’s when the debate on capital punishment was taking place among the far left loons of the time and NO ONE on the right spoke out against them.

Oh, boo hoo, a few innocents might be wrongly convicted and executed. They solved the wrong problem.

The police and the DA’s need to held accountable for wrongful convictions and out and out lying and fabricating evidence. Here we are 50+ years later and STILL no Judges, Da’s or Police go to jail for malfeasance and you can’t tell me it’s not happening. This article is but one of HUNDREDS of examples.

  11. It’s quite a statement about our selection process for judges. What a reprobate fool. The judge kissing the criminals ass. A judge that lacks judgement – go figure.
