Glad the Founding Fathers declared independence from England back in the day

Just saying that you like bacon when you’re around Muslims in England can be considered to be ‘threatening or abusive words or behavior.’

Muslims are building a Mosque in Dalton, on the edge of the Lake District. On the 16th Aug a man at a protest said “we want bacon.”

He was arrested under Section 5 of the Public Order Act 1986, suspected of a racially aggravated public order offence. pic.twitter.com/iAcWiXfM3c

The UK’s Online Safety Act is also working as expected. Free speech is being squelched all over the place. The UK government is trying to fine 4chan, who told them to pound sand.

Preston Byrne, managing partner of law firm Byrne & Storm, told BBC News that Ofcom’s notices “create no legal obligations in the United States” and called its investigation an “illegal campaign of harassment” against US tech firms.

“4chan has broken no laws in the United States—my client will not pay any penalty,” Byrne said. The law firm said in a post on X that, as 4chan is incorporated in the US, it is protected by First Amendment rights. It added that 4chan would seek “appropriate relief” in US federal court if necessary, and that US authorities had been “briefed” on the matter.

Since this law went into play, hundreds of people have been arrested under Section 179 which makes it a criminal offence to knowingly send false information with the intent to cause “non-trivial psychological or physical harm” to a likely audience. Because that’s not broad enough to allow misuse….

And then there’s entrapment. Female police officers are dressing in tight clothes and are going running. If anyone shows appreciation for their form via catcalls or whistles, then they arrest them.

Seriously I’m glad we’re on this side of the pond and that the Founding Fathers enshrined Free Speech into our Constitution.

  1. Can you imagine the Monty Python Troupe being thrown in jail for the SPAM schtick right about now?

This is a perfect example of a country imploding from within. We would be extremely wise to take heed an observe… as we were on the cusp of this here.

It will be interesting to see when (or if) the pendulum swings back, how far it will swing.

  2. Brits gave up their guns. Now they’re arrested for liking bacon.

But is it really bacon in England?

  3. I suspect that the jogging female police officers avoid places where muslim males congregate. For one, they’d likely ignore any catcalls from anyone of “diversity” and for another, they’d be much more likely to experience that diversity on a much closer level than they might prefer.

  4. Saw a post on X with a young Scottish girl carrying a large knife and a hatchet while screaming at a “vibrant diversifer” because he apparently tried to touch her. The young lass was later arrested. How sad for Scotland.

  5. When the police and the elected officials refused to take action against the Paki “grooming gangs” that were raping young WHITE British girls and young women for fear of inciting the mudslime hoards, the country was lost.

You’d have thought that Queen Elizabeth would have taken the same stand against this that she took on firearms after the school massacre in Scotland. But no.

  6. England has become pussified at the hands of their “betters”. How long until they no longer just roll over and take it? Apparently there is no offense too lukewarm as to warrant an arrest if you are a white Brit. What a bunch of smarmy pukes.

  7. I own a U.S. Model 1917 rifle. It still has some British red paint on the front handguard from its service over there as part of lend/lease. Said rifle is not going anywhere. We already bailed them out. Twice.

(Said red paint applied to tell our M-1917’s (chambered in 30-06) from the nearly identical British P-14 (chambered in 303).

  9. boneman–That would be interesting, to say the least. We’ll see how far the pendulum swings–it’s already started.

    wv–There’s a definite connection. Bacon is a relative term…

Silliest–They don’t want to put themselves in actual danger.

    WDS–That is very sad.

Nemo–True. And it shows how far the rot goes that the Queen did not take action.

    TRoy–I cannot argue…

RHT–Nope. They’ve made their bed this time.

B–Excellent point. The Founding Fathers deserve the credit. Corrected.

  10. i am very firm on the tremendous importance of the Constitution of the USA and the Bill of Rights. And as you said, seeing how things are in England, it is clear that the Founding Fathers were right to demand independenceand fight for it when it was not granted.

  11. Potentially unpopular opinion:

Britain has been a tyrannical, fucked up place for many centuries. Escaping that is the primary reason colonists came here to begin with, and why the founding fathers eventually told jolly ol’ England to piss right off. It’s also why they are in the terrible spot they now find themselves.

I find it impossible to feel badly for them anymore, as the rightful citizens of the country (not all the imported scum add to the mix) has made one bad decision after another for centuries, really. All the shit they are suffering now are just the consequences for having been politically stupid over a very long time frame, and too weak minded to take their country back by brute force.

Now their country and culture may quite literally be extinguished for it, which may be tragic in some sense, but like a drunk who keeps going back to the the bottle, they need to stop making stupidly bad decisions, and buck up with the violence that will clearly be required to clear their government of the scourge that is destroying them..

    1. And we can see (well, some of us can) why the First and Second Amendments were added as a condition of ratification.
