Memorial Day–Never Forget

Today, remembering SGT Shawna Morrison, KIA 5 Sep 2004 and
SPC Michelle Witmer, KIA 9 APR 2004, during Operation Iraqi Freedom II.

Ladies, you are not forgotten.

ETA: To all those who shared the memories of their fallen this year, I have added those names and memories to a scheduled post for next year.

I didn’t know him but I did train with two members of his unit MWSG 37. He was an MP from Massachusetts killed by an IED.
A grunt gave me a KIA/MIA bracelet with his name on it for doing him a favor.

    You are not forgotten.
