  1. The hand basket coveys you to Hell on the road paved with good intentions. But once there you should really be looking for a seat by the fan.

  3. There’s a lot of states like Illinois. Entire states run by two or three counties. Washington, Oregon, Colorado are a few I’m familiar with. We need electoral colleges within states to save the red counties from the blue ones. Or redraw state lines. All of eastern Oregon has voted to join us here in Idaho. Blue counties will never let the tax slaves leave, though.

    1. The Illinois meme: Canada’s province of Morontario (most populated) is full of leftist bobbleheads, and always voted liberal. They are the only reason Canada has had to suffer the liberal party for 10 years and why, after the federal election this month, Canada will have to suffer this idiocy for at least another 5.
The west needs to separate. Screw Ontario. And screw Queerbec while we’re at it.

  4. Massachusetts isn’t as Blue as they would have you think.
Boston, Worcester, Springfield, Fall River and Cambridge all have corrupt voting practices and have precincts with 90%+ voter turnout.
They overwhelm the rest of the state.

  5. Give all of Illinois N of I-80 to Wisconsin

And while we’re at it, give St. Clair county ( East St. Louis) to Missouri

  6. Unferth–And I’d also be looking for most of my friends….

Blueray–Thanks! I’m trying to keep the sarcasm meter pegged….

    dragonslayer–I totally agree.

Rich–I don’t know much about Canada, but in those situations an electoral college would bring things back to equilibrium.

John–I know and exactly. So the wishes of all of the people of the state are not being heard.

Gary–Not sure either of those states would take those areas….
