All the women named Karen who, for the last couple of years, have been having to use their middle names, can now start resting easier.
They’ve now been supplanted by Margaret.
The “Karen” in question, instead of merely acting in her usual manner as an entitled irritant, stepped up to gross condescension and ignorance, earning herself the new title “Margaret.”
“This morning, this ‘Karen’ displayed complete and total idiocy combined with grating, dismissive arrogance. In other words, she was a total ‘Margaret’,” explained neighbor Dean Barlow. “I can deal with a ‘Karen’, but I’m not putting up with a ‘Margaret’.”
It started with JD Vance, in response to Margaret Brennan on Face the Nation spouting the Dem party line and trying to equivocate on refugees vs terrorists to which Vance responded “I don’t really care, Margaret, I don’t want that person in my country, and I think most Americans agree with me.”
Margaret continues to spout such stupid as:
Foreign aid, as you know, is less than 1% of the entire federal budget. So we’re talking small amounts of money by comparison, but–
And it had to be pointed out to her that dollars do add up.
Margaret it is now, instead of Karen. Well deserved.
