Your feel good moment of the day (as Wirecutter would say)

The twatwaffle fucktard who left his dog tied to a pole by the side of Interstate 75 when a hurricane was on the way has been arrested and fined $2500.00 (not enough IMO).

“State Attorney Suzy Lopez has charged Giovanny Aldama Garcia with aggravated animal cruelty after he admitted to leaving his dog on Interstate 75 as he evacuated to safety during Hurricane Milton. The defendant told investigators he was driving to Georgia to escape the hurricane but left his dog ‘Jumbo’ on the side of the road because he couldn’t find anyone to pick the dog up,” Lopez’s office said in a release.

Considering all of the pain and destruction of people’s lives during both Helene and Milton (see Bennett Peach for her work in NC), this is a very small thing.  A dog has been rescued and will have a home with someone who loves him.  And even a small good thing is a good thing.

    People like that need to be beaten, then beaten again, then tied to the pier during low tide…..With ankle weights to they don't float. You took on the responsibility of a pet. Deal with the inconvenience.People like that should legally not allowed to ever have anything as a pet again…nothing. Not even a goldfish.. .

    Justin–to me the only choice is to take him with you, but yeah, leaving him tied up with no place to hide is just cruelty. Liked the upvote on B's comment!B–Agree totally.Dan–Not completely. Karma would be him trapped by a pole as the hurricane came through. Getting caught is a close second though.

    A few years ago next county over, an illegal alien was arrested, tried & convicted for tossing a puppy on a charcoal grill. Now, the Haitians are eating the pets in Ohio and it's denied by the local gov't & MSM.Something, something diversity & cultural enrichment.
