Instead of disciplining or expelling a ‘transgender’ student for creating a ‘hit list’ that had over 40 names on it, the school in Watertown, MA took a different and likely ineffective (and stupid) way:
by creating an LGBTQ affinity group and conducting anti-bias training.
Parents were understandably distressed since hit lists by mentally ill students in the past have led to bloodshed.
At the very least, when violence inevitably breaks out (and it will), there is a paper trail that the parents can use to sue the district. Of course, it’ll be too bad for the students who are the targets.
