Going a little darker this Friday. So although I liked this movie, the only things it really had in common with the comic book’s (Hellblazer) main character is the name and the fact that he’s a practitioner of the Dark Arts.
Love Keanu, so can get over the cognitive dissonance but Matt Ryan OWNS the character (there was a short-lived series that totally rocked). Highly recommend if you like these kinds of movies and shows.
I've seen this movie about 10 times.I like it.My only problem with it is that it clearly feels like a very long story (comic book series) that they condensed into a movie.

Best scene is when Angela is getting ready to get into the bathtub.Angela: So do I have to take the rest of my clothes off?Constantine: I'm thinking.Lucifer scenes are great as well

The movie is okay, but the series is much better. Just rewatched this all last month.

Matthew–I like it too, but like Crazy Hootowl below, really liked the series better.Gerry–Agree on the Lucifer scenes and the Angela scene was a good icebreaker on a tense scene.Crazy Hootowl–Agree 100%.
