Very, very quietly, the CDC has released new ‘guidance’ about covid.
What they said? Yeah, it’s pretty much the flu and should be treated accordingly. If you’re sick and have a fever, stay home.
Gosh–never would have thought of that!!! Because if you’re sick, maybe staying home no matter if you have a positive covid test or not, is better for everyone. And if you’re not feeling sick and have no symptoms, testing to see if you are sick is kind of (actually really) dumb and is kind of on the edge of hypochondria.
Notice that they are still pushing the masks. Which were not a thing until covid. I’m pretty sure I never heard anyone say to put on a mask if you had the flu or a cold, ever until four years ago (and I have enough years to have a pretty good idea about this).
And the signs on the door at the senior care facility several years ago all said that if you’re sick, don’t come in. Because even mild colds were dangerous to the seniors living in a semi-sterile environment.
The flu, which amazingly disappeared during the covid time, has always killed thousands of people a year. But we didn’t have our privacy, livelihoods, and bodily autonomy threatened and our civil rights abrogated for it.
There is no level of hell deep enough for the architects of the covid farce.
