Gee, never heard about this working paper

A black professor of economics at Harvard had the audacity to publish a working paper that showed that there was no racial bias in police shootings in 2016.

He was honest in that his data was not what he expected and he even triple checked to make sure it was valid–and he published anyway.

And he required an armed guard for over a month due to the outrage and three years later was placed on a two year leave by then-Dean Claudine Gray for an “exhibited a pattern of behavior that failed to meet expectations of conduct within our community.” that was disguised as allegations of sexual harassment.

He paid a heavy price for bringing forward the truth–after his two year leave, he was not allowed to supervise graduate students for an additional two years.

It's going to take a while before Harvard or any of the Ivys wilt away.Gerry–Very rare–a guy who actually walked the talk and let the data speak rather than pushing the data to meet the approved thought.
